Now, what's remarkable about this isn't that it so brilliantly makes the case for why we absolutely must defeat Obama in November. It is a well written, well thought out case against Obama. But frankly, it is rather sad that such a case even needs to be presented. Of course we are all baffled that anyone who has lived the past three and a half years needs any further evidence as to why Obama must be replaced.
What's remarkable is that this story was the cover story of this week's Newsweek. Yes, Newsweek, that extremely liberal "news" magazine.
Will wonders never cease?
I'm not sure I get why Newsweek would lead with this story, but it's a welcome surprise. Perhaps it appearing in such a "mainstream" publication will get a few independents or even reasonably thinking Democrats to consider voting the right way this time.
One can only hope.
